James byas

Born and bred in York, I studied at the University of Leicester in Genetics and Microbiology. Following this I spent 3 years in Japan, where I met my wife (Ki), before returning to the Uk where I eventually trained as a Remedial Massage Therapist at the Northern Institute of Massage. I qualified as a Remedial Massage Therapist in 2008 and began working from Hamlynn Health. I have since qualified as an Advanced Remedial Massage Therapist (2014), and have qualified in a Diploma in Sports Therapy (2015). I have also attended further interest study into shoulder rehabilitation, Japanese On Clothes Massage, and am an honorary member of a York based dental group looking into advancing local knowledge into TMJ (temporal-mastoid joint) issues that affect both soft tissue and dental issues.
