Diana works at York Natural Health Tuesdays and Fridays seeing all patients over 7years old. Her experience centres on helping adults and older adults with aches and pains in their muscles and joints. She is particularly interested in problems associated with working and ageing but she also has experience in treating the discomforts of pregnancy.
She combines traditional osteopathy with more recent evidence informed exercise and rehabilitation advice. Diana is very happy to have a free informal chat on the telephone with you if you are unsure whether osteopathy might help you. Just ask at reception and we can organise a suitable time.
Diana graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 1988 and worked in full time practice before combining that with tutoring in a busy teaching clinic. She went on to establish her own multidisciplinary practice in Kent working with a physiotherapist and acupuncturist, podiatrist, and counsellor and participating in a GP clinic, Ibstock Brick employee clinic, and the NHS in London.
Moving to Yorkshire in 2012 to work full time as a Senior Lecturer on the Masters of Osteopathy degree at Leeds Beckett University Diana sold her practice in Kent. Following the decision by the university to close the course Diana came to work at YNH in April 2016 and now combines this with being the Course Leader for the MSc Pre-Registration Osteopathy at the University College of Osteopathy in London.
Diana has a Diploma in Osteopathy (1988), an MSc in Research Methods (1995), and a Teaching qualification PGCAP (2014). She is registered with and regulated by the General Osteopathic Council and has never had any practice restrictions imposed.
