Optimise your Workstation with better posture
2020 was the year of “Zoom”, “working from home” and “lockdown”, and so far 2021 appears to be following suit. With this change in habits has come an increasing reliance on communication via computer or mobile device – whether that be for work or for social needs. Now more than ever we are seeing the physical effects of this, with a growing number of people suffering from neck and shoulder or lower back issues. So, before we start another day in front of our screens, James talks you through a few pointers that you would normally find as part of a DSE assessment, that will help you to make the best of what you have at home to try to optimise a good seating and screen set-up.

Utilise your mind body link for health and wellbeing
5 years ago I was chronically ill. Now I lead a normal life and specialise in helping people returning to health. Harnessing the Mind-Body Connection is a hugely powerful method of rewiring your neurology to start to break out of cycles and move to wellness.
We’ll look at how the mind body link creates change and the importance of calming your stress response. I’ll give you practical strategies to start sending your brain the right messages to create change and simple techniques to use immediately to reduce stress and improve how you feel on a daily basis.

“Journey to understand how you’ve become programmed to think and behave the way you do.
Learning a mindset technique is one thing, but what if your mind has a different agenda? What if you could identify your mind’s ability to take ownership for the change or even improvement you desire?
A practical guide to understand how to determine aspects of your mindset. Whether to resolve past experiences, or reach a newfound level of success, inner peace and understanding.
This session, you’ll be required to have a pen, notepad and an open mind, as Jonathan takes you on a journey…”

Simple techniques to relieve long term pain- a practical workshop
This session will focus on any pain or discomfort you’ve been carrying for a while. We will be exploring whether by using simple tapping techniques you can change the sensation of pain, reduce discomfort and feel lighter. Note: This is a practical workshop, you will be invited to tap gently on acupressure points including on your face. It’s always advisable to wash your hands thoroughly before we start but especially in this time of covid-19

Relexology – more than just feet
Reflexology is a holistic complementary therapy, with gentle pressure applied to the feet in a relaxing and flowing way.
It is not a foot massage, although it feels a bit like one, it is a way to help relaxation, improve mood, aid sleep, help relieve stress and promote wellbeing.
Although you may be familiar with foot charts which show a map of the body on the feet, each session treats the whole person.
I firmly believe in the mind body connection and that unresolved issues which cause concern or dis-ease eventually result in physical disease.

Guided Akashic Record Meditation
What if everything you ever thought or did was energetically recorded in a library. Every belief system, whether limiting or otherwise was imprinted into this field. This would be known as your Akashic record. The Akasha (or ether) is your soul’s library, that you can tap into for help with releasing blocks around limiting belief systems or experiences that have caused you to experience life and the way you respond to challenges in a certain way. Thomas will help guide you to your Akashic Record to uncover where you might be holding yourself back…..
