“With my own treatments I aim to connect the links between body, mind, emotions and breath to enable healing and discover the root cause.”
Coming from a background of alternative medicine, from a young age Alison formed a keen interest in holistic treatment by natural methods.
Alison Waring trained for five years full time, initially at the John Wernham College of Classical Osteopathy and then at the European School of Osteopathy where she graduated. Studying at two different colleges has allowed her to have a wider perspective on Osteopathic treatment.
Her main treatment approach is in the classical style which involves treating the whole body which she combines with other techniques such as cranial osteopathy. These are effective in treating a wide range of conditions.
Having completed her osteopathic training 14 years ago she went on to complete further postgraduate studies in Naturopathy, with the Incorporated Society of Registered Naturopaths and Hypnotherapy at the London College of Clinical Hypnotherapy. Alison is also trained in a form of guided meditation, known as Journey Therapy which can help to bring to our conscious awareness the beliefs and emotions that can block our natural healing process. Breathing is a key part to our health and releasing tension in our bodies, and is an aspect of health that Alison is passionate about.
In her spare time Alison enjoys dancing, mountain biking, walking in the countryside, skiing and relaxing.
Buteyko practitioner Alison Waring talks to Joanna Evans of Natural Health Magazine “What Doctors Don’t Tell You” about how she helps people beat asthma with better breathing.

I treat the whole family from babies to elderly
A system of healing that treats the whole body rather than its parts.
We treat new born babies with colic to children with growing pains.
Through the use of breath work we free up stored tension.
How it started
Alison Waring trained for five years full time, initially at the John Wernham College of Classical Osteopathy and then at the European School of Osteopathy where she graduated. Studying at two different colleges has allowed her to have a wider perspective on Osteopathic treatment so that she can practice the traditional roots of Osteopathy and in a classical way.
A Holistic Approach
Osteopathy is a system of healthcare, which treats the whole body and not just the symptoms. The body has the ability to self heal and an uninterrupted nerve and blood supply to all the body’s tissues is essential for normal functioning, to prevent disease.
A Gentle Approach
Cranial Osteopathy can be used by anyone, of any age and is especially helpful for babies, children, elderly or anyone in a chronic state of health who would not benefit as much from very physical treatment.
the healing power of nature
Naturopathy is a system of healthcare based on the theory that diseases can be successfully treated or prevented without the use of medication. A Naturopath applies natural methods and aids such as fasting, diet, exercise, hydrotherapy and massage.
The Buteyko Method aims to normalise your breathing to ensure that the correct combination of oxygen and carbon dioxide are present in the body. If a person suffers from a breathing related condition, it is possible that they are not breathing correctly.
Rebirthing and Dynamic Breath Release is a breath-work process that helps you to uncover, gain access to and clear out old stored cellular memories from trauma or times of emotional suppression.
